New Old Post--Added Photo of Princess Jacket

There is a post showing the Loes Hinse garments I made in Carmel. Somehow this photo was deleted, misplaced, messed up by the author, etc.

This is the new princess jacket paired with the silk blend Oxford pants. A rarity for a Loes Hinse jacket these days, there are actually functioning buttonholes in this jacket!

Covered snaps were a major element in current RTW Loes garments and the focus of a little tutorial for the seminar attendees.

The Princess Jacket looks like a morph of the lines of the Bergman blouse, the deep "V" neckline and closure of the Garbo jacket with a deep 4" hem. I've made a knit cardigan from the Bergman pattern but always thought it was a good jacket pattern as well.

Does it have two piece sleeves?

You made some lovely garments recently, they look so comfortable and stylish at the same time. Think I must consider a few of those patterns.

Terri--the princess is derived from the Bergman. Not exactly sure how, as the patterns are provided for seminar attendees to trace. The sleeve is not two piece--it is the sleeve from the Biarritz jacket pattern. It's a great little jacket to wear in mild climates!

Sigrid--you may enjoy these patterns! They FIT me, and that is a huge plus from the start for me. I enjoy the casual yet stylish look of Loes' patterns. She uses vry trendy fabrics in her boutique, so that really is the key for getting the look she designs. Thanks for your kind comment!
