Knitting

I can't figure out how to move the photos where I want them, so the first photo is of my granddaughter's hat. My first attempt at knitting anything beyond a scarf.

These are some gifts I made for Christmas this year.

First is a scarf for my DIL who lives in cold weather country. Below is a hat for my grandson. The last hat is for my granddaughter.

Lyn's Stuff

I am starting this blog to keep a record of the projects I complete. I hope to post frequently, but that will depend on my productivity.

I'm a retired educator/administrator and grandma. I enjoy sewing and knitting, travel with my husband, and reading.

Here's a dress I made for my oldest grand daughter for her school's colonial history unit in January. It's a bodice with attached skirt worn over an underskirt. The underskirt is pinned to the dress to photograph--so it looks uneven. I still need to do some hand sewing--hooks and eyes to close the bodice front. I think she will enjoy wearing this for her school project.

My next project is an outfit from Ottobre magazine for same grand daughter.
